In My Heart, You Will Stay

Image
Time passes, Your love remains. Some say memories fade, But they remain. In my heart, you will stay . That twinkle in your eye, your soft warm smile. Your laughter, your pranks on April Fools, is what I miss. But In my heart, you will stay. Tears fall as I Remember the day. Your last words, your final embrace, Your last breath. In my heart, you will stay. In loving memory Edward A (Doc) Cadenhead June 27, 1918-  March 31, 2006

Rise Up

You sit there, your head between your knees crying. Long and hard, you ponder your very existence. You Say, no one will notice no one will miss. That love is only a word. It has no meaning. But let me tell you; They will notice, they will miss. Put the gun, the knife, the rope aside. Rise up, cry out, surrender to the one who can heal all wounds. Know that love is not only a word. There is a meaning. GOD IS LOVE. Rise up, be the one he has destined you to be.

For Such a Time as This

“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your fathers family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14             Esther’s story is one of faith and courage. She was taken from the only home she knew along with other girls her age and was taken to the palace of King Xerxes against her will. But the King saw something in her that he did not see in the others. He found favor in Esther and soon she took Queen Vashti’s place as queen. God placed Esther in the right place at the right time. God’s purpose for her life was more than just being queen; it was to save her people. So I ask you what is God’s purpose for your life? What is that dream he has placed in your heart, the one you cannot stop thinking about? I encourage you to step out and begin your journey, the next chapter of your life ...
