How Beautiful Is The World

On a warm and windy day, Ella was sitting up against an old oak tree when suddenly, the leaves began to rustle above her and a dove landed  into a pile of leaves next to her.      “That was quit a landing,” he said as he got up, shaked his head and brushed away the leaves with his wings. Ella grinned, trying not to laugh.   She reached out her hand to stroke the dove on its head.      “Would you like to hear a story about God’s beautiful world,” he asked. “Yes,” said Ella.      The dove extended  his wing, Pointing. “See the butterflies, the birds soaring amongst the clouds.” “See the sun as it shines light upon the world. “How beautiful is the world.”      “Can you hear the wind whistle through the trees? “Watch as their leaves dance with the wind.”      “Can you hear the cricket’s melody, t...

Stay Strong

Hey you guys, I don’t really know who this is for, but I feel the need to share this with you. Maybe you’re being bullied or there is something else going on in your life right now that has caused you to contemplate taking your own life and you feel like it is your only way out. I’m here to tell you that it’s not; there is a reason God put you here for such as time as this. He has a great plan for your life. I just want to let you know that you’re not alone and that you’re loved; God loves you. God can turn that darkness in your life into something beautiful. I say this from experience because I too wanted to take my own life. Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.   Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future....

Untitled Short Scene

As Gabriella walked solemnly toward the kitchen, a stray tear tried to break free from the confinement of her eye. She stopped, took a deep breath and continued with her six –year- old niece trailing behind. Her niece went straight to the pantry and wrapped her fingers around the jar of peanut butter. With a smile, she handed it to Gabriella. Gabriella then reached up and took the loaf of bread from the top of the fridge and set it ever so gently on the counter. She headed back to the fridge; unconsciously her hands grasped the fig preserves. She took two pieces of bread and spread the peanut butter across one and when she popped open the lid of the preserves, the sweet aroma from the figs filled her nostrils; with that came the memories of her and her grandfather, causing a smile to form on her once solemn face.

Set Apart

We are called for more,   our past does not define our future. Because,   In Christ we are   set apart, Destined for greatness,   long before our   birth. Nothing   will ever separate us from that love. Don’t conform to the pattern of this world we are not of it. But, of a world much greater, A world of peace, A world of joy. That place where God has called out so that our purpose may be revealed. In Christ, we are set apart so that His glory will shine through.

Hands intertwined

They walked along the old clay dirt road Their eyes are fixed on the road Ahead, their hands intertwined.Occasionally they gazed into one Another’s eyes; they smiled and though No words were spoken it was Evident that I love you Was expressed. The sun began To set, allowing the moon To take its rightful place for the night. They came to a stop in the middle of the Road, without a care or worry. They took the crickets melody Firmly to heart. As if in Sync, they raised their heads to The heavens, and watched The splendor of it all, took Each and every ounce of its beauty, Engraved that one moment into their Heart and mind so as to never forget. He twirled his newlywed and embraced her, Planted a kiss on her soft pink lips. The aroma of fresh rain filled them. They ran back, Still hand in hand, Letting the Rain fall upon them, not Caring whether or not they became dre...
